It’s common knowledge that Disney shows are mostly geared at children. New projections show how Disney+ differs from other streaming services in terms of how much it caters to young people.
38.5 percent of Disney+ viewers are under the age of 25. By contrast, only 28.5 percent of all CTV viewers are under the age of 25.
Disney isn’t the only popular streaming service that caters to children and teenagers. Under one-third of all YouTube users are under the age of 25. Netflix follows a similar pattern: 31.8 percent of all Netflix viewers are under the age of 25.
These figures show viewers of Disney+, YouTube, and Netflix are more likely to be young when compared with other CTV viewers. But out of these three, Disney+ leans most heavily into young audiences.
