Prime inks NHK deal for Vanille A Caribbean Tale

Prime Entertainment Group, a Paris-based distributor, is celebrating an agreement with NHK, Japan’s main public broadcaster, to deliver award-winning short film Vanille, A Caribbean Tale to a Japanese audience.
The short film follows a feisty 9-year-old Parisian girl who is taken to spend the holidays with her aunt in Guadeloupe. Vanille is enamored by the colorful individuals, unexpected adventures, and a special mystical flower that would restore her to her roots, despite her reservations.
With over 18 important accolades worldwide, including a Cristal at Annecy’s renowned International Film Festival of Animation (Festival international du film d’animation d’Annecy) in 2021, and over 30 nominations, Vanille’s personality has gained the public’s adoration.
Vanille, A Caribbean Tale has already signed arrangements with major broadcasters throughout the world, including RAI RAGAZZI in Italy, KIKA in Germany, SBS in Australia, and RTHK in Hong Kong.
