The Vancouver Animation School (VANAS), Canada’s largest educational institution of its kind, will open its first class in September for Brazilian students residing in the country, with special scholarships. Prior to the official opening, the institution will host a free professional animation workshop in the form of an online seminar format designed specifically for Brazil.
Vancouver Animation School, founded in 2010, is a fully accredited online school that offers advanced programs for the animation, visual effects, and video game industries. The organization provides vocational certificates, diplomas, and university pathways in a wide range of art and technology, media, and design fields. VANAS was the first 100% online institution to be fully accredited by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA), a regulatory body in British Columbia, Canada, in 2013. On its YouTube channel, the institution frequently offers free tutorials.
